Serge Houde as Dr. Vulnet Grazinar
Mr. Houde’s acting career began in his mid-30s, but Serge Houde has made up for lost time, with more than 160 film and television roles on his resume. Houde is perhaps most recognizable for his portrayal of mob boss Sam Giancana in the television miniseries The Kennedys (2011), alongside Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes and Tom Wilkinson. Other recent roles include Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Alzheimer’s-stricken father in Seth Rogen’s 50/50 (2011), and an appearance on the U.S. television series Psych.
The Canadian actor starred alongside Mena Suvari in the television movie No Surrender (2011). That same year, Houde appeared in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, as a teacher, and had a cameo role as the mayor in Nickelodeon’s A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!
Houde’s extensive body of work dating back to the 1980s makes him frequently in demand, with three roles forthcoming, including two completed television movies, and Four Saints, a feature film set in World War I, planned for release in 2013.
